Save Your Files as GIF Images

====================
Sometime you may want to share your images with friends or to publish on the World Wide Web. The .GIF format is almost a standard for doing that. With this function, you can create .GIF files from your processed images.

The function works only on the information stored in the video buffers. So get the image looking the way you want on the screen, escape to the Main Menu and invoke this function from the File pull down menu. You will be given a choice of which of the three Video buffers you want to use, and will be asked to supply a name. Note that you must append the .GIF extension to the name. You may use a path designator as well (e.g. \IMAGES\M51.GIF).

TIP! Use the Crop and/or Resample functions to make the image the final size you want before creating the GIF file.
