Square Pixels

=============
The VESA 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768 modes display square pixels on the standard video monitor. If your images are from a chip that has square pixels (such as the Kodak chips and the TI-255, etc.), your images will display with a correct aspect. If you are using another chip (such as the TI-211, TI-241, TI-245, etc) you can resample your image to have square pixels and thereby achieve a correct aspect ratio. The Measure and Calibrate routine expects square pixels so you will have to resample non-square images to get accurate position results.

The VGA 320x200 mode does NOT display square pixels and most (if not all) images will have to be resampled to display with the correct aspect.
