This old church is really off the beaten path and is not in good repair. It
is one of a string of Catholic churches and monasteries running diagonally
through the state of Oaxaca. The relatively light gothic arches contrast
with the heavier construction seen elsewhere. The pronunciation is
yahn-weet-LAHN.
