The state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico deserves more attention, especially
from people in the United States. It is a major source of illegal
immigrants to the States, but should be a major tourist destination based
upon its wonderful people, rich history (both pre-Hispanic and Spanish
colonial), climate, and natural wonders.
We won't try to present some kind of general travel guide in these pages,
but instead will try to present vignettes as we have lived them. Enjoy.
